Vice-Chair of The Friends of St Edward’s Committee Jules Flory reviews Bucket List at The North Wall:

“On the Ides of March – Wednesday 15th March – The Friends of St Edward’s were delighted to make use of the new Parent Pass at The North Wall. The production was “Bucket List” which was written by Nir Paldi, the Co-Artistic Director of ‘Theatre Ad Infinitum’, which pulled together the performance  by the company itself.

It was, in fact, a sell-out production however, the Friends secured enough seats to host a reception followed by a pre-production talk by Nir Paldi himself who set us up for a wonderful evening. Indeed, the conversation could have gone on for some time and left us with enough intriguing information to open the show.

An extremely talented Vicky Araico Casas played the part of Milagros – a Mexican woman fighting for justice following her mother’s murder for protesting against government corruption. We were then taken on a journey as Milagros punishes her mother’s killers at any cost. The other performers combined their talents of music, dance and drama as this flowing story unfolded with humour, passion and tragedy keeping us all gripped the entire way through.

This is another fine example of the advantage of having the North Wall as part of St Edward’s and the Friends will be delighted to continue supporting the productions here. If you have not already secured your Parent Pass – I would recommend you drop in next time you are there and we shall keep you posted of any events with which the Friends are involved.”
